2017 Calendar

I’ve finally decided on the pictures I want to use for my 2017 calendar.

All pictures were taken by me in 2016 and here’s a description of each:

  • January – this picture was taken outside of our house after a snowstorm last winter
  • February -this was taken in February when I was out for a walk
  • March – this was at a local garden on a warmer winter day last winter
  • April – This is a neighbors tree.  I sat down under the tree and pointed my camera upward toward the sky
  • May – This was taken at the local garden one weekend morning
  • June – Also taken at the local garden (I guess I go there a lot!)
  • July & August – Also taken at the local garden (yikes!)
  • September – At a local university
  • October – My front porch after it was decorated for fall
  • November – this is a bush we have in our yard that turns red when the leaves start to fall.
  •  December – I took this when I was out for a walk on a warmer day last winter.

I used a fixed 50mm f/1.4 lens for all of the pictures except for January.  For January, I used a 18-55mm f/5.6 lens.  My camera is a Canon Rebel T3i.

I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

2016 Calendar

If you’re in the U.S., I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Our Thanksgiving was full of delicious food and great company.  I made this caramel cheesecake from Tartelette and it was so good!

My 2016 calendar is ready!  Below are the images I’ve chosen.

If you’re interested in ordering one of my calendars, please contact me at theprojectboard@gmail.com and I’d be happy to work with you!  Price depends on your preferred size and quality of the calendar.

A look back at my calendars for 2013, 2014, and 2015 is also available.

I also wanted to take some time to include a brief description of each picture. All were taken in 2015.

  1. January – this is a tree in our neighbor’s yard during a snow storm.
  2. February – this is a scene I came across while out for a walk as the snow was melting during a warmer winter day.
  3. March – taken in my garden with my macro lens.  I added a photo filter because the original turned out too pastel-looking.
  4. April – taken at my parents’ house with my macro lens.
  5. May – also taken at my parent’s house, but I used my high aperture lens for this one.
  6. June – picture of a luna moth in my yard.
  7. July – flower in my garden.
  8. August – from a flower garden where I work.
  9. September – trees outside of a building near where I work.
  10. October – a foggy morning at my house.
  11. November – a display outside one of the shops downtown.
  12. December – Christmas decoration on my mantel.

    Thank you for visiting!

2014 Calendar

I’m a little late, but here are the pictures I chose for my 2014 Calendar.  Click on the thumbnail for a larger view.

I hope the start of 2014 has been great for you.  There hasn’t been many things to take pictures of here in the middle of winter, but I do plan on posting more often soon.  I have some yummy cookies recipes I’m planning on trying soon.  If they go well, I’ll share them here with you.

2013 Calendar

I’m a few weeks late, but I finally made a 12 month calendar made up of some of my pictures.  Here’s what I used.

This is the first time I had a calendar made and I was surprised by how easy and fast it was.   I was a little limited with the pictures I could use because I’ve only had my camera since June, so I had no pictures that were actually taken in February, March, April, or May.   I’m excited to have a wider range of picture choices for the calendar I make next year.
